Would you like to become a Supporter of NUMs work?
Do you believe sex workers’ rights are human rights?
NUMs Pilot scheme was first funded by the Home Office which ran from July 2012 until March 2013, since then we have relied on the goodwill of a small number of people and organisations who have given donations and contributions. However, our funds are running out very quickly. Other charitable funding (such as independent Trust funding) is extremely hard to come by and this is particularly true for sex worker-led organisations and those campaigning for a rights-based approach to sex work. Often sex work is just too controversial a subject for funding bodies in the UK to support. You can set up a direct debit today via JustGiving.
Whether you are running a marathon, jumping out of a plane or holding a coffee morning, you can easily meet your fundraising target and get even more support for your event by making the most of your email and social media contacts. For more information visit our Sponsored Events page.
If you are interested in Running for NUM or taking part in a cycle in 2016 drop us an email letting us know of your interest, we will be keeping you up to date throughout the year for charity run places for 2016. Currently we will be entering a team for the Great Manchester Run 2016, charity places to go live in January 2016. Contact us for more information.
